Alejandro Sanz is starting his own record label, “Lola Records,” which will specialize in the musical style of flamenco.

Alejandro Sanz is currently on tour in support of his eighth studio album “Paraiso Express.”
The album was released in late November 2009 and the first single “Looking for Paradise” came out on Sept. 18. “Looking for Paradise” was collaboration between Sanz and Alicia Keyes. In the song, Keyes sings her lyrics in English, while Sanz sings in Spanish.
Alejandro Sanz tickets for the “Paraiso Express” tour will be largely available in Spain, though there are some dates in the U.S. in Tennessee, Illinois, Virginia and Florida. Check back for more news and tour dates.

Alejandro Sanz is solidifying his spot in the pop world of the U.S. with an Alicia Keys duet on his new album.
The single, “Looking for Paradise,” will appear on Sanz’s upcoming album. The Spanish crooner met the pop superstar, currently racing up the charts with another duet (with Jay-Z), in Lisbon, Portugal at a Rock in Rio festival and made a connection.
The next time the two met, they started playing music together and recorded right away.
The song will be released on September 22nd.

Alejandro Sanz is currently hard at work on his first English studio album, which includes R&B singer Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Roger Sanchez and Tommy Torres. The album is slated for release on November 17, 2009.
Sanz, 40, has won 15 Latin Grammy Awards and two American Grammy Awards, something no other Spanish singer has ever surpassed. In addition, he also holds the record for the top selling Spanish music album in history with 21 million copies sold.
